• Email messages sent to internal customers when ordered materials are received.
• Daily summary of item issue volume (in $) totaled by account code sent to each site manager.
• Listing of any Purchase Requisition line items that have been placed on an Approved or Issued PO sent to requisitioners.
• Other escalation messages when items are past their due date or have been in the same status for over 60 days.

PowerGen anticpates that many other event-driven or scheduled messages with rich content from enterprise systems such as Kronos and Platinum Financials will also be automated using dbNews to improve workgroup productivity and management decision making.
