Princeton
University Selects dbNews
February 15, 2003
Innovalink
is pleased to announce Princeton University as its newest
dbNews customer. Princeton selected dbNews to automate the
communication of personalized information to staff and students
through email, pager, and other channels. Initial uses of
dbNews at Princeton include alerting maintenance staff of
new requests, notifying internal customers such as faculty
and students of the completion of requested services, and
collecting customer satisfaction survey results. Since dbNews
can be used to gather and communicate event-based or schedule-based
information from nearly any data source, Princeton plans
to continue to leverage dbNews to further enhance communication,
collaboration and efficiency.
Wes
Williams, an IT Manager at Princeton, explains that selecting
dbNews for the university was an easy choice:
"For
a small investment dbNews really delivers. It is a very
versatile tool and can be used to keep people informed
about any information that is relevant to them, all
scheduled
and automatic. In addition, you don't need to be a rocket
scientist to program it."
dbNews makes it easy for organizations
to automatically keep employees, customers, and business
partners informed with personalized,
relevant, and timely information from any enterprise database.
